INCOMSTEEL (c) - nanocomposite inert coating proven effective in humidity analysis on levels as low as ppm’s and in analysis of sulfur-containing compounds. According to GOST 31370-2008 (ISO 10715:1997), Sampling Systems (SS) and Sampling Conditioning Systems (SCS) surfaces have to be specially treated (using inert coatings) to prevent loss of low-ppm concentrations of sulfur-containing compounds and water. Silicon based inert coatings are industrial standard when dealing with sampling and process analysis of traces of water and sulfur-containing compounds in natural gas. Stainless steel is tends to adsorb these components, leading to loss of representativeness of sample and lags.Therefore, parts of SS and SCS, which contact with sampling media, are coated to avoid aforementioned problems. Incomsteel is proven effective in humidity analysis on levels as low as ppm’s and in analysis of sulfur-containing compounds, results are confirmed by leading hygrometry institution, VNIIFTRI (Irkutsk. National hygrometry institute, currently maintaining the Russian humidity Standard).
